Hi, my name is Alexander Luciano Jr; I'm 15, I live in Rensselaer, New York, and I attend Rensselaer Junior Senior High School as a sophomore. I live in a house with my mom, dad, sister (9), brother (7), and dog. In school, I'm a friendly face everyone knows and loves. Many peers have told me that I'm a person often looked up to, and I have been told by many close coaches and staff about my leadership qualities. Along with my good personality come my good grades that range from 85% and higher. As a young kid, I've consistently grown up around the game of football, thanks to my dad. Throughout my childhood, even though I was always into sports, I didn't play football until 5th grade on pop warner. After that, I played again in 7th grade on the modified football team as a tight and defensive end. Due to Covid, I played flag pop warner football during my 8th-grade year as a wide receiver and corner. Throughout my high school season, I've played as a wide receiver, running back, and outside linebacker. After the second game of my first high school season (starting as wide receiver), my coach pointed out my potential as a running back. Even though I felt like a receiver at heart, I talked to him about the position switch to help support the team while our running back was injured. Currently, I am the captain and starting running back/outside linebacker for the Rensselaer Rams, one of the many blessings and opportunities that God has allowed me to take advantage of and pave my way with. Other than football, I've played and still play sports such as basketball, wrestling, and track and field. Outside of school, I like to practice different trades and skills like entrepreneurship, home renovating, caretaking, and communication skills through jobs like helping my grandfather run his business, helping work with my dad on properties my mom is selling, and being a camp counselor. I'm the best potential component for someone's college because of my work ethic and leadership. Helping others and myself improve on and off the field and trying to better oneself is extremely important to me, and I will do whatever I can to do so.
