Charles (Charlie) Coggins '10 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'2" Long Snapper from North Carolina. I am currently ranked #1 in the state of North Carolina with both Chris Rubio and Ray Guy. I am ranked in the top 25 in the nation with Rubio and #5 with Ray Guy. I have been all-conference and all-county the past three years and All Charlotte-Observer region my Sr. year. My team, Albemarle High School Bulldogs, went 16-0 this year on route to the NCHSAA 1-AA State Championship, finishing with a win in the Championship game at Wake Forest University over Southwest Onslow High School. I am a team captain and a hard worker. I've been told by many that I am a "coach's dream." I work hard both in the classroom and on the field. My goal is to play college football for a D1 or D2 school in 2010. I feel that my long snapping skills are among the best in the country. My snapping skills, combined with my blocking and quickness make me a top choice for a D1 program. I am wanting to major in Business or International Business but am not 100% sure of my major at this point. I am open to playing anywhere in the country, but prefer the South or Southeast. I would like to find a school where I could benefit from the program as well as the team benefit from my membership. I am ready for a challenge and hard work. I plan to prove myself as a long snapper and I'm excited about continuing my career with football at the college level.
