Personal Statement
My name is Caden Robinson. I am the oldest of three boys. My parents are both life-long high school educators. My father, Joey Robinson, has been an English teacher, varsity coach (football, basketball, track), athletic director, and administrator for the previous 17 years. My mother, Jill Robinson, has been an EC teacher for the previous 15 years. I desperately want to attend a 4-year university and have the opportunity to participate in collegiate athletics. I have played multiple sports throughout my life due to my love of competition. However, basketball and football are my main passions. There is no greater feeling than earning a victory with my teammates for our school and community. The qualities that I possess which make me a good candidate for your team are that I am hard-working, dedicated, loyal, intelligent, and a "team-first" individual. The only stats I care about are wins and losses. While games are fun, I love all aspects of sports. I love lifting, conditioning, practices, film study, bus rides, pre/post-game meals.....I love it all. I can't imagine not being part of a team. I work extremely hard in and out of the classroom. I'm aware that there is always someone smarter or more athletic than me, but I refuse to be outworked. My parents, both with a Master's degree, have instilled in me the value of hard work. I understand the importance of embracing the grind. Any school willing to take a chance on me will receive all I have to offer on and off the court/field. I will be an active member in my college community and willingly participate in multiple volunteer opportunities. I understand that giving back is the most important thing we can do with our time. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Caden Robinson
