I am Matthais Mckinnon, A 2012 graduate and First-Team All-State player from Bishop Maginn H.S..
located in Albany, New York. In the fall 2012, I will be attending Jireh Prep, located in Matthews, North Carolina.

During my high school career -2008-2011, I was an exceptional player and team-mate. The positions I excel at are
Running Back/Cornerback. In New York State, I was named Section II Most Valuable Player and also earned Section II
Offensive Player of the Year as a Senior. However, the award I'm most proud of is being recognized at my high school
graduation as the Most Improved Student.
I'm a very hard-worker, who is also dedicated to the game of football. I want to be football prospect who has earned the opportunity to play college football at your university. That is why I'm improving upon my athletic and academic abilities, by attending Jireh prep school.
I am 5'11 , weigh 185 pounds. Football has influenced me from a young age, making me a more disciplined individual. I've been playing football for about 11 years and I've been a captain or co-captain on many of my teams. In the Football 2010 season, I was nominated MVP player of the year and received the Section II Offensive Player of the Year Award. I had a great season in 2011, I was awarded Section II Player of the Year, Skilled Player of the Year and MVP. I was nominated for the Section II ALL-STARS Team and ranked in the Top Coach Couch Scouts.
I would like to attend a college located in the southern hemisphere. I am looking for a school that is academically and athletically right for me. I would prefer to play for a Division I or II college. However, my options are open to any colleges that are looking for a high achiever, both academically and athletically. If the opportunity arises, I am interested in looking into any scholarship package a school has to offer.
In addition, I enjoy helping out in my community. I participated in the "Walk for Breast Cancer", and helped a shelter out with food distribution. I participated in several different fundraisers such as for the needy, school, and sports related events.
What I can offer any team is nothing less than a high achiever. Perseverance is the way I achieve my goals. I embrace my challenges because I believe it makes me a better performer on and off the field. I have learned that dedication and living up to my potential, will bring me further in life. That's why I exhibit a positive attitude everyday.
