Mason Hudson '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mason Hudson.  I am a junior WR for Weddington High School in NC.  My first two years of high school I attended Charlotte Country Day School where I played on the JV and Varsity team.  My #1 goal is to play Football on the collegiate level, gain a college degree, and one day play in the NFL.  My parents are my biggest supporters who has always instilled in me that "Hard Work Beats Talent" any given day.  Therefore, I work hard every day to become 1% better then I was the day before.  My work ethic is always in beast mode.  I don't make excuses because I understand that excuses and success can never exist in the same place.  I am a lover of all people.  My personality speaks for itself.  I don't boost or brag about what I can achieve and or have achieved.  I let my work speak for me.  I train year round to get better as a player, a leader, and a team mate.  I live by " If Better is Possible then Good is not Enough".  Therefore, I know it's always another level waiting for me.  Academically, I had a rough start in high school.  Transitioning from a public school in which I was the top of my middle school class to a private high school with a very rigorous curriculum was very humbling to me.  As an athlete I may not be the best or fastest WR on the team, however I am the most consistent and hardest worker for sure.  I consider myself the underdog that should never be slept on because while they are sleeping I am working.  I train 5 days a week and play on a travel 7 on 7 team.  I have the pleasure of training at Bommaritos in Davie, Fl, the Receiver Factory in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. and I have a position specific coach I work with 5 days a week.  My biggest attributes are my love of Christ, my family, and my friends.
