Derrick Liles '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Derrick Liles. I am 16 years old, and an aspiring graduate of the class of 2021. My primary position is Wide Receiver, while my secondary position is Safety. My current GPA is 2.9; however, I am working hard to increase this average. It is my ultimate goal to get accepted into a collegiate program that will enable me to grow both on and off the field, as I strive to be a leader academically, and as a college athlete.  I am a leader, fast-learner, and coachable player. I am also fast, explosive, a great route runner, and have excellent hands. In my off season, I run track and lift weights. I currently train with my personal football trainer every Saturday and Sunday morning. We run routes, lift weights, perform conditioning exercises and work on DB drills. My attitude and personal drive makes me stand out from the other recruits. I show up to practice and games ready to work and cheer on my teammates. I feel that I will be a significant asset to any college team.
