Mate Orgovan '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mate Orgovan, and I am part of the graduating class of 2023 at the Aurora High School in Ohio. I currently play at the positions of FB/DE for the Boys Varsity Football Team.

Since I was first introduced to football in middle school, my budding interest in the game kept growing inside me and became an overpowering passion. I learned early on that you’re never alone with football. It gives you a surrogate family and teaches you a universal language that is shared by all players and fans around the world. When I go out to the field the outside world ceases to exist, and I give 100% of what I've got for my jersey and for the success of the TEAM it represents.  

My personal goal is to become a student-athlete in a Division I-A college where I could be fully committed to playing football while majoring in business. I am disciplined and dedicated, yet a highly versatile player who can be lined up in multiple spots (FB/DE/RB) to make both the offense and the defense of my team more dynamic.
