Carl Spears '24 Recruiting Profile

Good day, I have been playing football since I was in the 3/4th grade.  When I first stepped on the field I have dreamed of playing at college level and then heading to the Pro's.  During my pee wee football time I was always chosen to continue playing with the travel team, and continued training with different coaches that gave me praise on my hard work and dedication to football.  Once I entered high school, my dream became a goal.  I was taught to lead by example.  I watched my former and current coaches put in dedicated time in introducing me on how to elevate my craft.  As a young child, football has enhanced my social skills and listening skills.  I strive to be one of the hardest working players on our team! 

My current year is 11th grade.  During this year, I have received awards for most improved athlete, 2nd place city championship in wrestling, second team (football) award for outstanding team performance.  I have set a goal for myself in being #1 my senior year!

I work hard year around.  My high school GPA has been steady at a good average.  I make time to mentor other young men in my age group on wanting to be successful before being successful, staying positive, staying drug and alcohol free, staying in school and all in all to make positive choices in hopes of a positive outcomes.  Education is very important and I am open to a lot of options when choosing the right college.
