Ted Vynalek '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1'' quarterback from McConnelsville, Ohio and will graduate in the class of 2011. I currently carry a 3.84 GPA on a 4.0 scale and am a member of the National Honor Society. As a sophomore, junior and senior, I started at quarterback on varsity. I received the Outstanding Offensive Back Award at the post season award assembly in 2008 and was named All East District (OH) Special Mention and All Muskingum Valley League Special Mention. My senior season, I was named the team Most Valuable Player and 1st Team All Muskingum League quarterback. I compiled the fifth highest career passing yards for a quarterback in school history and am one of seven in school history to pass for more than 1,000 yards in a season. I was also Special Mention All-Eastern District. The summer following my freshman year, I was timed at 4.81 in the 40-yard dash. In addition to football, I am the starting point guard on the varsity basketball team. Also, I participate in Key Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Pep Club, the Renaissance Program, Leadership Council and Spanish Club. I am looking for a college that provides a good balance of academics and sports. I intend to pursue an undergraduate degree in pre-law and a secondary major in sports management. I am open to looking at all opportunities at any division level.
