Liam Phillips '27 Recruiting Profile

As an multisport athlete, I have worked my hardest to achieve the highest level. I have competed at the National Jr Olympics for track and graced the podium 3 times over 2 years of attendance. I placed 7th in the Nation at the 2021 Jr Olympics in Humble Tx for the 400 M with a time of 53.40,  my 4x100 and 4x400 placed 3rd and 4th in the Nation at the AAU Jr Olympics in North Carolina in 2022 with my teammates from Ginn Elite Track Club, coached under Ted Ginn Jr. My PR 100M yd dash time is 11.39 and 400M is 52.33.

Whether it was by participating in college football camps, or starting Varsity for my first 3 years of high school, I've been pleased with my development. I had the awesome experience of returning a 96-yard kick return for a TD in week 2 of playoffs which awarded me the County record holder for longest TD return during the playoff season in Medina County Ohio, again as a Freshman starter. I’ve had multiple long yard (65yd plus) returns this season as well. 

I'm always trying to strive for the best, while having fun in the sport I'm playing. I enjoy taking on challenges and try to overcome hardships by having a positive outlook and pushing through the adversity physically and mentally. It has led me to become the well-rounded and driven person I am now.
