Jackson Farley '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing football since I was 7 years old. Even though I was a multi-sport athlete in my youth and into freshman year of high school, playing basketball, track and field and baseball, football has always been my favorite sport. My love of football had me playing tackle, flag and being the ball boy for Mentor High School Football from the age of 7 up until I was a Mentor Football player myself.  Football has taught me so much and helped me grow as an individual, teammate and community member. 

On the field I have a strong football IQ, great vision, balance, speed, agility, power and the ability to withstand physical contact. I am a strong blocker for my teammates and have great hands for catching passes.  I give 110% in practice all day, every day and that reflects in my performance on the field on Friday nights.  I am a team leader who leads by example and encourages my teammates. I was named First Team All-Ohio, First Team All-Conference, First Team All-County and Region for the 2024 season. 

I enjoy giving back to the community in working with our up-and-coming football players in multiple youth camps, have volunteered at our local homeless shelter, The United Way, and Habitat for Humanity building small playhouses for disabled children. 

I work hard in the classroom with a 3.0 GPA. I am currently enrolled in the CTE program of Construction Management and am really enjoying it. I can see myself continuing my education in Construction Management or business and marketing that relates to Construction Management.
