Benjamin Sullivan '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Benjamin Sullivan.  I play football and wrestle for National Trail High School in New Paris, Ohio.  Since my school is small, I have had the opportunity to play various football positions.  Defensively, I've played middle linebacker and defensive end.  On the offensive side of the ball, I played running back and tight end.  I was also the punter and kicker.  Playing all these positions helped me understand plays and react quicker when the ball was snapped.  

I am also on the varsity wrestling team.  I placed 1st at 220lbs in Div. III at the 2016 State Tournament in Columbus, Ohio.  I also placed 2nd in 2014 and 3rd 2015 at the same weight and division.    

I live on a small farm in southwestern Ohio with my parents, five sisters and brother.  Working outside, baling hay, horseback riding and fixing things are some of the things I enjoy.  Many of these experiences, both with sports and living on a farm, have helped me to be hardworking, self motivated and responsible.  I have not decided on a major yet.  I am considering engineering or something in the agricultural field.
