My Dream is to play Division 1 football and be in the NFL nothing less. I'm a hard-worker. I put hours on hours in the weight room to be the best player I can be. But I also keep up with my studies to maintain good grades. I believe that I am better than other recruits because I will always have more heart than them. My plan is to come to your University and contribute right away. I also want to be the best in my position and. I'm willing to do what it takes to be the best even though I played one year of high school due to my grades but I moved on from my mistakes, and ready to earn my spot to any D1 University that would give me an opportunity, and to a University that would bank on me I will work to be the best RB that I know I can be, and will be at your University and believe that I'm the best, and punish whoever tries to tackle me, and know that no one can stop me. I want to be one of the great RB's that played this game, and I believe I can be one day.
I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. I go to Reading High School. I am 17 and my name is Aydrian James Simmons. I always lived in Ohio and stayed around Reading. I always went to Reading schools. My daily activity right now is football; we are hoping we will be in the playoffs. That was our goal at the beginning of the season. I like to think we worked hard during the offseason to be able to put us in the position again to be back in the playoffs. Before the season started, I had a goal to be the best running back. As the season went along I think I proved to myself that I am. Football brings ups and downs. It brings happiness from a big win and sadness from a heartbreaking loss; at the end of the day football brings people together like a second family.
I have overcome many obstacles. One was my father's death in 2007 and not being able to play football for the past 2 year until this season. So it feels like I am playing for lost time when I didn't play at all until this 2017-2018 season. Another obstacle I overcame was depression because I was not playing at all really for the past 2 years. After I tried to put that behind me and focus on getting better as a running back. I stopped making excuses, made the best of what I had and was successful to the best of my ability.
Problem solving was the hardest for me. Not necessarily in school terms, but in the actions I made that would affect my future. For example, not going to school on time led to a detention or even not going to school led to bad grades which led to ineligibility for football or any sport I played. So for me not to be in that situation again I went to school, got my grades where they needed to be, and did what I was instructed on and off the field so I could be successful in school and off the field.
The most important thing to me is family because your family should be your support team. To help out with problems that are stressing you or encourage you to do better than what you doing because they just want to see you to be successful. Sometimes when you lose a family member it will depress your whole demeanor. Just like my dad passing when I was 7 years old. I did not see him that much because he was sick, and he did not want me to see him a few times in that one year before he passed away. When I did see him he was a great guy to hang around, but at the time I did not know what was going on. So I did not know how to act around him because he could not walk or stand up because he was paralyzed from waist down. My 7 year old self would just talk the whole time before my grandma picked me up from his house. Every day of that month I saw him after school before he passed away. Then on February 19, 2007 a few weeks before my birthday, he passed away. He was why I played football. That is why I wear the number 7. When I get on the field that is most of the reason I don't talk much or show very little emotion because of what happened. The reason I do not talk in class is because in elementary I was getting kicked out of class and getting suspended from school almost every month from 2nd grade to 3rd grade because I was talking too much and causing trouble with other students. Guess I can say I was that guy back then. Up to this point in my life it's been an adventure but there is a lot more for me learn and experience and have fun while I can cause after all we have one life so we got to live it to the fullest.
