Carter Zimmann '20 Recruiting Profile

My goal in going to college is to have the ability to be a team leader and use the abilities and skills I've learned over the years to help and assist my team to have them get better. I'm more then capable of playing any position when called upon, I've been placed everywhere except for O-Line, D-Line and QB.  Other than that I've been every position on offense, defense, and special teams. 

In total over the last four years, I've kicked well over thousands of kicks all including punts, field goals, kickoffs and on-sides. I've always been dedicated to kicking. I've shown my team sportsmanship, honor, and respect. When my team was down after a game, I said to have our heads held high, we gave it our all and now we have no regrets to what we did. On our final game, I knew at the final seconds that we gave everything we had. All of us were emotional, but we had a smile on our faces, we had the most fun we've had all season, even in defeat. This year, we only had four seniors, all four of us had a choice to make to play or not, one had bruised ribs, another had his MCL rip, the third one had a bruised knee. Then me, knowing I've truly given my all. I've endured a hip flexor hyperextension, twisted ankle, being knocked out and still playing and a hyperextension my right knee. I've always told myself, I'm nothing without my team, I need my team just as much as they need me, we work as a unit, all eleven on the field, and if we don't then we will lose as a team.
