Since 2013 when I started playing football and realized that I was pretty good at it. I started talking to my Dad, who played in the States on a football scholarship (Washington State), about the chances of getting a scholarship for Football. I believe I am a good candidate for the following reasons:
1. I haven't even hit my full potential strength or size. I'm 6’5 247 right now going into my Junior year. My dad was 6'5' 300 when he played and my Mom is 6'0. Both played College sports at a high level
2. I am a conscientious student who has maintained a 80% average in my three semesters and plan on keeping a 3.5 through out my HS career
3. I am a team player who always puts the team ahead of myself. I am coachable and always striving to learn more. I am a student of the game who watches football constantly with my Dad and always learning from him and others.
4. I am a very well rounded athlete. I play basketball with my high school program and I do all of the throws on my track/field team. I can play multiple positions in football. I have learned every position on the field except for DB. I learn concepts quickly. I have also played soccer and ice hockey.
Goals / Objectives:
* My goal is to earn a full scholarship to a Div I or I-AA college for football.
* Attend a school that focuses on me as a student and can help me get a degree because football doesn't last forever.
* I do have a long term goal of playing in the CFL or NFL, but CFL is definitely on my radar. My Dad played CFL.
* I hope to be a part of the student population more than just as a student or athlete, but to take part in many other activities if time permits.
