Competition, from a young age competition has been part of my life. Ever since I was young, I set goals for myself. Starting with simple tasks such as waking up at a certain time or competing to do better than my friends. As I continued to get older I competed harder and worked harder to win. Success is very important to me and I will do whatever it takes to reach success.
My work ethic and determination have been a big contribution to my success in sports. No matter the cost I would always do my best to play hard to become a better athlete. Whether it was simply shooting a basketball after school or practicing throwing a ball, I always did it to be the best. It became something i did a lot, something I could go to and something enjoyed a lot and still enjoy to this day.
I first got introduced to football when I saw the older kids at school playing in the school yard. I was so fascinated and decided to join. It took me a while to understand what they we’re doing and get the hang of things. Once I did, I saw an opportunity. It was a chance to compete and become a good player. I played everyday during our break and even at home with neighborhood friends. I soon noticed I was becoming better at the sport and wanted to expand. At first it was just something I did with friends, but when highschool came around I knew I couldn't resist playing. So the first thing I did was sign up for the team, I played as a Wide-receiver, I still play wide-receiver to this day.
So when people ask me why i love football so much, I tell them it's something I am passionate about and want to seek success in. I want to win and expect the same of my teammates. I work hard to achieve my Goals and once I know what I have to do to progress and achieve these goals, I will do whatever it takes for me to get there on and off the field.
