Since I began to play football two years ago, I've fallen in love with the game. Im from Toronto, Ontario and with that being said Canada doesn't get a lot of recruiting opportunities. I've studied and watched the game almost religiously for the past two years to a point where its the only thing I can think of (outside of school work). My abilities are still raw but I believe with the right coaching I can develop into an elite quarterback at the next level. Spending time in the wilderness in the summer has taught me many things about not only how to handle myself on the football field but how to be a stronger person in general. When paddling a canoe through tight spaces or strong currents and winds, you just have to put your head down, paddle and do the work. I take that mentality with me onto the football field and I put everything I have into every play throughout the game, whether it be a crucial third down or the final knee to seal it. As for me playing JV, this year my school couldn't field enough players to warrant a Varsity team so the coaches made the decision to go all out on the development of our grade 9 and 10 players for the future of the program.
