David Carr '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'3 Quarterback from Gaston, OR. I have a 4.1 GPA. I Started Varsity as a freshman. I would really like to pursue football after high school. I am open to almost any college geographically. I would like a college with high academic standards. I am looking to major in pre-medicine. I am an extremely hard worker, I work out 4 days a week before school, and during the summer I continue my workouts. In college I am willing to play just about anywhere, preferably Quarterback or Receiver. I bring leadership and hard-work to a team, my leadership is usually by example, and positive motivation. I want to be a key player, who is looked to in tough situations, and who carries a lot of responsibility. This year our football team made it to the state playoffs for the first time in 20 years, a very notable accomplishment, we followed it up with a trip from our basketball team, being the first in 30 years. A major part of my decision to play in college will be how much it will cost me, seeing as how I am planning on going into medicine, I will have to take out a substantial amount of money to help pay for medical school, and the least amount of debt I have after college the better.
