Matt Jones '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a senior three sport athlete at Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, Oregon. In my time as a high school athlete, I've managed to compete at the varsity basketball level for four years, as well as a three year varsity athlete for football and track. I have been a starter and captain on both, my football and basketball team for the past two seasons. As a senior quarterback in football, I played a large role in the turnaround of my varsity football program from 0-10 my sophomore year to 8-2 my senior year where I threw for over 2,400 yards on completing 66% of my passes with 22 passing and one rushing touchdown. I was named 2nd team All League quarterback on offense, Honorable Mention as a safety on defense, and I received the Great American Rivalry Series Scholar Athlete award as a result of my success on the field and in the classroom. As a student, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my high school career while still taking the higher level of IB course rigor. My goals are to play football in college as well as earn a degree in business and management, then pursue a career in business.
