Over the last three years of football I have been awarded: MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, and Most Inspirational I have also earned the respect of my teammates who have voted me Captain all three years. Over the last two years of Basketball, I have been selected as Team Captain twice, Defensive Player of the Year and was recognized by the coaches as MVP. While these accolades are nice, they are nothing more than a physical award for the leadership and athletic abilities God has given me.
Integrity means to, "To strictly adhere to a high moral standard. Incorruptible" (Original Merriam-Webster Dictionary). To me this plays out in several different ways, for example: It is always better to show up an hour early then a minute late and when I pursue a task I give my all, regardless of who is watching. However, the most important lesson I have learned is what it takes to lead on and off the field regardless of what people will think. Along with the ability to play numerous sports, leadership is another strength.
I have a 4.0 Grade-point average and am looking for a school that will fit me both academically and athletically.
I know I have what it takes to play for and be a leader on your team and in your school programs.
Respectfully,
Aaron Franklin
