http://www.hudl.com/athlete/654404/harrison-greenberg#.ToDzvafOEmU.email I grew up in a house where football is what you watch, but soccer is what you play. And I was an outstanding competitive soccer player, so I am not sure what it was that led me to try out for the football team in 8th grade, but once I did I fell in love with the game. Kicking came naturally to me, but I quickly discovered that there was much I needed to learn. I am fortunate to be a part of one of the best football programs in the state, and was able to learn from some of the brightest coaches. But I also learned that the program had never had an outstanding kicker, nor was it a specialty of any of the team coaches. I wanted to be outstanding. I found a kicking coach and developed a program for myself, which includes a kicking coach, clinics, weights, yoga and meditation. During the season I achieved a goal of becoming the number 1 ranked kicker in the 3 Rivers League. But more importantly, the coaches and my team can now count on a kicker to perform at a high level in a game. I am seen as a motivating influence with the team and fans as well. I was named Athlete of the Week last year. Being a part of a team has been such a great experience that I want to continue this experience in college. I am a strong student (3.33 cumulative GPA, most recent semester 4.0 GPA), taking challenging courses, such as AP European History, and Political Action Seminar. I am very interested in politics and worked on a campaign for state senate. I want to be a part of a college program be it D1, D2 or D3 that appreciates that every player can make a difference even the 5'8" kicker.
