Lake Mulberry '26 Recruiting Profile

My Name is Lake Mulberry, I am 16 years old, 6-foot 200lb Sophomore at Philomath High School in Philomath Oregon. I have had the love for Football since I was in the 1st grade. My high school experience started on Varity my freshman year and played Center and Nose guard. My sophomore year I started and played D end and tackle on Varsity. This fall I will also start on Varsity but will be linebacker and running back is my coach's plan. I am very excited for the season to start, I am already working on plays and keeping my body conditioned and healthy.

I started wrestling my freshman year and went to state my first-year wrestling. This year, my 2nd year wrestling I placed 5th in the 4A state championship. I am continuing my training and lifting weights. My goal for the coming year is to place in the top 3.

I am a good candidate because of my coaching ability, efforts and a great teammate. I know that Football is a team effort and does not rely on one person. I also realize knowing my position and playing at my full potential at every practice and every game with benefit me but also my team.  

School does not come easily for me, but I feel I work hard to do the best I can. I am a country kid, so I know what hard work is and am not afraid of it.
