My name is Brayden Garver. I have lived with my grandparents in St. Helens Oregon since 1st grade. My father is in prison and my mother has a severe drug addiction and has been in and out of mental institutions.
I was born February 19, 1999. I am 6’ 3” and weigh 275. I a senior at St. Helens High School in St. Helens Oregon and will graduate this June. I was part of student government my freshman year, and chaired the freshman float committee for home coming . I have volunteered for numerous school projects. My GPA is 3.2 and I will be taking my SATs January 21st. At this time I would like to pursue some area in finance and or athletic trainer in college
I have been playing football since the 5th grade. We won the league title in 6th, 7th and 8th grade years and were undefeated in 7th and 8th grade. During my high school career I have played Center, offensive and defensive guard and tackle. I am use to winning and strive for nothing less. I played for the St. Helens Lions. We ended this season with an 8 and 3 record, losing in the 2nd round of the 5A playoffs. I have also participated in wrestling and track.
During my senior year I have received several awards for football. I am most proud that I was voted one of the team captains and best lineman by my teammates. At the June 2016 Linfield team camp I received a lineman award. In September 2016 I was awarded “athlete of the month” by the St. Helens Booster Club. At the end of the season I had earned 1st team all league offensive guard and 2nd team all state awards for offensive lineman.
Work Experience:
At school I have worked as a teacher assistant for Mrs. Kerry Marshall and Mrs. Bonnie Adams.
Currently I’m working as a teacher assistant for Mr. Todd Smith
The summers of 2011 through 2015 I mowed lawns for extra spending money.
