It started back in 1st grade when I first started to play. My dad told me that it would be fun, so I signed up. My dad is the main reason why I am playing football today. I remember being the starting quarterback my first year playing and was told that I am the most important player on the field. It was challenging but I embraced it and found my love of the game, winning. Since that first game almost 10 years ago, I have learned how much passion I can have about something. So much passion that I would do anything to prepare myself to give my team the best opportunity to win.
The biggest academic goal that I set for myself was to have a 4.0 GPA throughout high school and into college. My sophomore season I was moved from quarterback to a position that I have never played before, outside linebacker. I quickly adapted to my role so I can play the best I could. I have been told by multiple coaches that I am a great listener and extremely coachable. I have also been told that I have a natural gift of being a great leader and that I never give up. I am a very good athlete and can play multiple positions.
