Personal Statement
I began playing football when I was in first grade. Once I started, I looked forward to every fall to get back on the field. Growing up, I played many sports, but football has always been my passion. My goal is to have a successful high school football career which will hopefully lead to the opportunity to play at the collegiate level.
I have been working to enhance my skills with high school coaches and players and training to be more explosive, stronger, and faster. I workout at a local gym four days a week and also volunteer to help train younger athletes. I enjoy working with others and feel that I am a team leader on and off the field. I am very coachable and always strive to be the hardest working player.
I am a straight A student taking all honors and Advanced Placement Classes and I’m currently ranked 6th in my class out of almost 600. I also play baseball, play piano in my school orchestra, and am learning a foreign language on my own time.
My goal is to find a college that will be challenging both in the classroom and on the football field. I aspire to be a great college student and teammate and most importantly make my parents proud.
