I started playing football in my freshman year at high school. I've always found a unique sense of purpose and community on the football field. The game isn't about the adrenaline rush of a touchdown or the physicality of the sport, it’s about the lessons you learn in every practice and game. Through football, I've developed resilience, a strong work ethic, and the importance of teamwork. I strive to motivate my team members, as well as set a good example for the upcoming younger players. My commitment to the sport goes beyond personal achievement, it's about contributing to a team's collective goal.
I focus year-round on training to be as prepared as possible for the upcoming season. I have attended speed training school to help enhance my on-field ability. I have a training coach to help with mobility, plyometrics, and strength. I also focus on maintaining a sharp mental state by reviewing and learning from past games and plays.
Embarking on the college journey, I find myself at a crossroads, eager to explore a lot of interests that will shape my future. My high school years have been a testament to my dedication and perseverance, consistently demonstrating that hard work is the cornerstone of my character. While standardized tests have never been my forte, I view them as challenges to overcome, not barriers to my success. This mindset fuels my determination to improve and achieve greater goals. As I pursue my academic and athletic career in college, I'm excited to bring my passion, discipline, and collaborative spirit to both the classroom and field.
