Cody Delfino '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'3" 255lb. Tight End/Defensive End from Greenfield Township, PA. I have started on the Lakeland High School varsity football team for the past 4 years. I earned 2010 LFC Division II All-Stars Defense Second team my Sophomore year and 2011 LFC Divison II All-Stars First team-Defense my Junior year. I was also selected to the PA Big "33" Hot 100 prospects for 2012. My senior year I was selected Captain of the 2012 Lakeland Football Team. I had 52 tackles with a team-high 10 sacks. I finished my season career with 157 tackles and 19 sacks. Offensively I had 16 catches for 205 yds. I was selected to the LFC All-Regional Team for Defense. 2012 LFC Division II All-Stars First team Offense and First team Defense. 2012 All Eastern PA Football Class AA Honorable mention for Defense. Pennsylvania Football News All-State 2nd Team Defense. Runner up for the Hookey Reap award Defense. I maintain a 93 GPA and scored a 1380 combined on my SAT's and a 19 on the ACT's. I would like to find a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of Criminal Justice. I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the football field. My ideal athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team. I am open to attending college anywhere in the United States that offers me the best opportunity on and off the field.
