Jacob Henry '26 Recruiting Profile

 I am from northwestern Pennsylvania, where I live and work on my family's dairy farm, Henry Farms of Knox, LLC.  I come from a 107-year-old family legacy that pride itself in hard work and dedication to the deepest level.  I apply this to everything I do in my faith, school, work and sports at all levels.  

From the first time I stepped on the tackle football field I fell in love with the game.  Defense is where I love to focus, tackling is my favorite part of the game.  As I have grown in the sport, I really enjoyed leading and even had the opportunity as a junior to be one of the captains on our team.  I not only put this dedication into practice on the football field but also on the wrestling mat and track as well.  I have made it to our district match in wrestling each year of high school and I am well on the way to having 100 wins in my career.  Track has been another sport I have enjoyed, and it has helped me to increase my speed for the football field too.    

It may seem that all I focus on is sports, but I also work very hard to maintain my 4.0 GPA.    Finally, I keep myself well rounded by serving through our National Honors Society, 8 years in 4-H, volunteering through my local church and attending missions' trip to help others in need throughout the United States. As you can see, I keep myself very active and I am excited to pour my heart and soul into a new football program where I can grow and learn to take my football career to the next level.
