Jordan Groff '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'11" RB/WR/DB/Athlete weighing 180 pounds from Lancaster, PA.  At Lampeter Strasburg, I am captain of the team and a 3 year varsity starter.  2-time 1st Team All-Section RB.  In my senior year, I was also named 2nd Team All-Section DB and led our PIAA District 3 Class 3A finalist team in TDs (17) and total yards (1,112).  In my junior year, I led our PIAA District 3 Class 3A semifinalist team in TDs with 14 (TD every 7.3 touches, 13.7%).  My team went 23-4 over my last two years.  Academically, I currently have a 3.90 unweighted GPA and SAT scores of 670 Math, 620 Reading, and 590 Writing.

I am looking to attend a university with an outstanding reputation in the field of engineering.  Ideally, I would like to find a competitive football program where I could make an immediate impact on the team.  Being a two-sport athlete (co-captain/leading scorer for the varsity basketball team as a junior), National Honor Society member, community volunteer, and a top scholar is evidence of my versatility, leadership and time management skills, and my commitment to excellence in everything I do.
