Since the age of 5, I've been fortunate enough to play what I believe is the greatest team sport in the world. Football. For 12 years, I've had the joys of playing on very successful teams where our season culminated on top with championships while also experiencing the growing pains of a developing and rebuilding squad. To me, there's no greater feeling than lining up with my brothers on the field.
With the guidance of very supportive parents, I was able to transfer the best qualities of football right into the classroom. I completed my sophomore year just under a 3.4 GPA. I have always chosen to challenge myself academically, focusing on honors and/or advanced curriculum. This approach towards education, alongside my love to be in the weight room and get stronger, leads me to believe I will acclimate perfectly to the lifestyle of a college athlete.
The game of football has given me many smiles and many tears. My goal is to use my love of the game to help provide a pathway to continuing my education at the collegiate level.
