Troy Conway '19 Recruiting Profile

     Introducing mysele, my name is Troy Conway Jr. I strive everyday to improve myself from education, weight room, and my set goals I believe to achieve. For my fiture after high school I have long since aspired to be a nurse practioner like my mother, who in her field is rank as the best of the best. My goals for college are to of course play football, but yet also achieve the ability of getting my degree in nurisng and/or business. What may set me apart or make me a good candidates for teams is my determined will to never give up in the face of adversity. Being in the reality where as a young african-american male as myself is subjected to the harsh reality of things, I believe my character and up-bringing have tuaght me to humble myself and keep pushing through. Making myself different from other recruits is my forgoing or ourgoing character. I want a team based type of team, not just one. I want each and every teammate, coach, assistant, or whoever may be on that field to get better every singke day. I bring a level of humbleness and a need to learn; understanding and adaptation to the team. Yet, above all I will never let academics be of an issue. I believe if you are to be an athlete at any level, there are standards and expectations to be held. Academics is a main key component to that. My education is on me and I choose be a student-athlete. Education will be a main priority. Through and through, I believe any chance I get will make me or break me. I choose to grow or stay behind in the past. I will give my all and will power will make me into thb eplayer coaches know I can be.
