Austin Bennett '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Austin Bennett I am 6' and weigh 185lbs. I'm a senior at Midd West High School in Middleburg, PA. I'm the starting QB, Safety and Kicker for East Juniata High School in McAlisterville, PA. I started playing football at the age of 8 and with 9 years experience my passion for the game only grows stronger. My desire to play football has never come easy due to the fact that my school district has never had a football program. Although that has never stopped me from playing, if anything it has made me an even stronger player due to the fact that I always had to work hard for my starting positions. I thank God for my parents and their sacrifices because of them and their support I wouldn't be the player I am today. I have played the following positions QB, WR, RB, TE, DE, S, K and P. I've started every game I have ever played both offense and defense. I have been a team captain and I hold that position with the utmost respect. My most proudest accomplishments thus far have been Coaches Choice Award, Leadership Award and MVP Offense Award. I continue to work hard in the off season by training and traveling to camps to be coached by some of the best coaches on the east coast. My future goal is to attend college. I'm not concerned of how near or far or how large or small the school is. I am looking for a school that will offer me a higher education with a great football program and possibly some financial aid for my family. I am looking to pursue a career in criminal justice although I'm still continuing to keep my options open. My athletic goals are to become a great asset to your football program and to make every season a winning season with championships.
