Brandon Tomory '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Brandon Tomory and I am currently a student at Chestnut Ridge High School. The biggest influence on my life was my injury in the fall of 2021. Before the season started, I suffered an injury that kept me from football this year and would have for the rest of my life. I used to be a lineman and I suffered a major stinger. Due to this, I was told to never play football again, but I just couldn't stay away. Due to the low risk of contact, I am switching positions for my final year to the punter. I have a previous history of playing soccer which helps with technique and form. I became interested in football my sophomore year because my principal was persistent about me joining because of my size for the line. After that, I just fell in love with the sport of football. What I have learned about myself and hearing it from coaches is that even through tough times I still find a way to participate and be involved with the team. My biggest academic goal for high school is to finish my career with a 4.0 GPA and be one of the highest ranks in my class. I have received a three-star ranking from Kohl's kicking.
