Jacob Good '15 Recruiting Profile

Dear college coaches, I am a 16 year old, 6 foot 195 pound linebacker from the small town of Oley Valley. I have been playing football since I was 9 years old, and the first time I ever played I immediately fell in love with the sport. Some people just play the sport just to say they play or for whatever reason. I play simply because I love the sport and can't get enough of it! God has blessed me with the ability not to just dominate on the football field, but also as a student, friend, and brother. I am truly blessed with the ability to be a leader everywhere I go. In addition to playing football, I also excel in throwing events in track and field. I made districts and counties for javelin and discuss as a sophomore, but I also do shot as well. As my junior track season has gone on I threw 171 feet in javelin, 155 feet in discuss, and 42 feet in shot. Those numbers will hopefully only continue to grow as i get into senior season. My goals are to be able to make a division one school, but even if given the opportunity to play college ball or throw for track and field would be a dream come true.
