Personal Statement
I, Alex Lyons, am a 6'2", 215 lbs. outside linebacker on defense and a wing/running back on offense from Sayre Area High School in Sayre, PA. I have played football since I was in first grade and would most certainly like to continue playing football beyond my 2012 high school graduation. I am a very versatile player and have had to play many roles out on the field. I have also played baseball and basketball starting at this same age and continue to do so at the varsity level. Along with my desire to play football in college, my academic success is and will continue to be of utmost importance to me. For many years, I have attained the principal's honor roll for 3 out of four marking periods. My education is my top priority. I would like to pursue a degree in Sports Management or Exercise Science. I am willing to attend the coed college or university which is the best fit for me as student and athlete in most any part of the United States. I want to contribute to my college team, at whatever division level, by utilizing my many years of experience in the "best" way I can.
