My name is Caleb Mead, and I am a Running Back/Reciever/Defensive Back for Upper Moreland High School. I am in the Class of 2019. I have been playing football for 10 years, and I enjoy it more every year, as I constantly improve. I try to make everyone around me a better player. I feel like I am a very well rounded football player as I do play both sides of the ball at the same level. I not only play football during the season but I train during the offseason with former NY Giants player Brandon Bing of ProBing Elite. During the offseason, we work on speed drills and defensive back techniques. I'm one of the few high school players that train with Bing during the offseason as most of my training partners are college players.
I am also a really good sprinter for Track. I've been running track for about 4 years now and I consistently finish first in my events (100m, 4x100m) at the major invitational meets. I am a top 15 sprinter in the state of Pennsylvania for my class. Also, my 4x100 relay team qualified for states this past year and we are a young team, two class of 2018 and two of 2019. Our relay team finished top 20 in the state and we are Suburban One League Champions. I have run the anchor leg for our team since seventh grade. We push each other every day to get faster. Iron Sharpens Iron!!
I'm looking for the highest level of competition in not only Football but also track. I am an Honors student at my school as my GPA is a 3.0. I love to compete with the best of the best, and I'm looking for a school that can offer me that and suits my future plans of being a physical therapist. I love to play the game.
