Michael Walsh '19 Recruiting Profile

Football has been my passion since I can remember. I think it started when my Grandfather, whom I have always had a very special bond with, read to me or told me stories every night before bed.  Literally, every night, and the majority of them involved football. He played for the University of Wyoming and Coached High School Football for 38 years.  He started working with me at a very young age and my passion and commitment has never wavered. In fact, it has only gotten stronger since I have started to have some success. Last year, as a freshman, being the back up Quarterback and this year, leading the State in Passing Yards and Total Yards. I am academically motivated as well. I choose to take two high level math courses this year because I actually just love math. I am hoping to use my academic strength and play football at a very high level.
