I am looking for a school that will provide me with the opportunity to receive an exceptional education paired with coaches that can help me become the competitive football player /teammate I know I am.
I love to compete both on and off the field. I am on my high school’s rugby, chess, track, math, and football teams. All of these different activities have taught me their own unique lesson. Although, one of the most important lessons I have learned is the importance of teamwork and being “a group of individuals”. The “individuals” part stresses that each player has their own specific job and the “group” aspect shows that if each individual does their job, then the whole group will be successful.
Religion also holds a large part in my life. I am Roman Catholic and am currently the sacristan at my local parish. Due to the extended time I spend at my Church, I have become very close to my pastor and he is someone whom I have the utmost respect for. One of the many things I've learned from him is to always thank God for everything he does. He has blessed me and many other athletes with our gifts and he wants us to use them to the best of our ability. By always giving 110% on everything I do I am honoring the gifts that I have been given.
Our football team has enjoyed much success winning both the freshman state title and this year winning the Division 1 RIIL State title. I was appointed captain of the freshman football team and enjoy being a leader in the locker room and on the field.
I am looking forward to an outstanding junior and senior years playing for our team. I am confident that these next two seasons will have me ready to contribute and succeed at the next level.
