Hi Coach,
I am humbled and extremely grateful for the opportunity to discuss the possibility of representing your program as a quarterback. I will be totally focused on the success of the team and I look to encourage and lift up the players around me as their leader. I will lead by example and my example will be that I am willing to give everything I have every single day in workouts, in practice, and in games. Academics are very important to me because I know that without solid grades I have fewer opportunities in life. I love my family and they are extremely important to me. My parents love me a lot and have always supported my dream of playing quarterback in college. My dad was a high school head football coach and I have grown up around football all my life from being the ball boy to playing quarterback and understand the operation of the team as a unit. I am passionate about playing at the next level and beyond.
God has blessed me with athletic gifts; 4.77 (40 yd dash time), I can throw the ball 50+ yards hitting my receiver in stride, and am very accurate with all routes in the passing tree. I am a versatile athlete who can escape fast pass rushers and run the ball successfully if the option is called. I am very familiar with modern-spread, and option type offenses and I have been known to memorize an entire playbook over a weekend. Those are great gifts, but the greatest gift of all is faith (belief). I will sacrifice everything for the team on every single play because I believe they deserve everything I have. My will to win is unmatched and I am a fierce competitor. I hate losing and I also know it's not the end of the world as I have a "next game" mentality win or lose, but I expect to win each game I play in. Winning and losing games does not define me. My faith in God, my love for my family, and my commitment to my craft and the team does.
Thank you,
Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi
