Daniel Pinkerton '12 Recruiting Profile

I am Daniel Pinkerton i am 5'11 165 I am now a current starter at Alvarado High School I play wide receiver. I run a 4.5 40 yard dash I also run the 400 in track I will be running for captain in this upcoming season I have dreamed about playing football beyond High School since second grade. I never really thought it possible until last season when one of the leaders on my team told me all I need to do is work hard and anything else isn't up to me. I finally see that if I work hard I can achieve anything. I want to major in business accounting or marketing. I am developing good leadership qualities pushing younger athletes at my school, just as my peers and coaches have pushed me. My team was cut short 1 game from state last year I have never had a worst taste in my mouth and feel that I am a better player because of it . From that our senior class of 2012 said we are going to outwork every team in the nation if we have to to get us back in that position state is the only option. I am an extremely good route runner I need to work on getting in my routes a little faster but I read the ball well can jump and have great hands. I guess what makes me work so hard is remembering all of the people that told me I could not hack it when I was little and that I wouldn't get the chance. So I set out to make it a possibility and will do whatever it takes to get to the next level .
