Growing up with a single mother led me to mature quickly and develop a great work ethic early on. She had to work a lot to get to a position where she could support me, which meant I had to step up my responsibilities at an early age too. I have always had the internal motivation needed to excel both in school and on the field. I am coachable and eager to learn. Seeing both my parents battle cancer and chemo has taught me that life is unpredictable and you only get one chance to do it well. I want to put in the work and do it well.
