The one important thing that has influenced who I am today is my grandfather. He passed away a couple of years ago. He never saw me play because he was always taking care of my grandmother that has long term memory loss. Every game that I play I dedicate it to him because I know he is watching up there. When I was young I played many sports like soccer, basketball, and karate. None of those sports became one with me. They were all boring to me. Then I found football and I instantly loved the sport. I was about 9 when I first started playing and absolutely loved it, and still love it today. I would love to further my football career in college. I play center for the Vista Ridge Rangers and 100% a team player. I play for my team not just me. I have been on the leadership council for the Varsity football team for 2 years and was voted to the position by my peers. I do community service to encourage younger kids to get involved in sports and school. I love the game of football and the character and perseverance it has taught me.
