Braxton Owens '26 Recruiting Profile

This past year I remained on JV until the playoffs. While this was frustrating in some ways, I benefitted fom alot of playing time and experience. I learned that I can be patient, strong in my belief in myself and that no one other than me is responsible for staying motivated. I pride myself on my natural leadership and likeability and on keeping myself and my teammates engaged, excited, yet focused during games. I commit myself and my heart to every play and every game and I believe that both my JV and Varsity teammates would agree that I never give up, I am predicted to continue to grow in height and one of my goals is to put on at least another 20 lbs before football starts again this fall.  I love to catch the ball and I thrive in the physical precision that football requires and I am excited to develop my skills further on the field in college. I am also excited about the access to academics will take me further in life beyond football.
