I am Cooper Johnson and I am a Sophomore at A&M Consolidated High School in College Station,Texas. I am a dual sport athlete, playing football and running track. In football, I have played many positions but most recently have been playing WR, CB. I also contribute on special teams as a PR, I’m on kickoff, kick return, and punt too. In track, I run the 100m, 200m, and 400. I am an extremely hard worker and always push myself to be better each day. I love to compete regardless of who it is or the challenge. I am willing to go up against them and I am betting on myself. I give a 110% in every rep, every play, and in everything I do. As a student athlete, I realize my grades are important. Not only do I consistently maintain A’s, I was a part of the NJHS and have been awarded various academic achievement awards over the years. I also know it’s important to give back to my community. A few years ago, I volunteered to coach local flag football teams and I am always willing to give more to my community. I love the game of football. My love for this game is what pushes me to play my best. In the summer prior to 8th grade, I was awarded two MVPs in 7on7. After my 5th grade football season, I was awarded the Al Globe Award for my dedication, spirit and sportsmanship. My greatest strength in football is turning small plays into big plays. I use my quickness, agility and ability to stop on a dime to make opponents miss and get open. My coaches will tell you that I have a high football IQ, I pick up plays quickly, I’m extremely coachable, and I lead by example. I do whatever it takes to win and I encourage my teammates to do the same. I’m confident that with all I have to offer, I would help improve your program and win.
