My name is Logan Unterfenger, and I’m a Wide Receiver in the Class of 2026. Football has been a part of my life since third grade, and my passion for the game has only grown stronger with time. Alongside football, I also run track, specializing in the 400m and 200m, where I’ve learned the value of discipline, speed, and endurance.
I’m constantly striving to improve, and I know that year-round dedication is key to becoming the best version of myself. In addition to my school season, I stay sharp by competing in 7v7 football during the offseason. This allows me to refine my skills, stay in game shape, and continue working on my football IQ. I am driven by competition, but what truly motivates me is the process of working tirelessly to get better every single day.
I take pride in my role as a leader in the locker room, always striving to inspire and uplift my teammates. I believe leadership is about leading by example — whether that’s in practice, the classroom, the weight room, or on the field, and whether or not the ball is in my hands.
Football has taught me the importance of relationships, teamwork, and pushing myself beyond limits. The thrill of competition and the bond with teammates is something I cherish deeply. My goal is to play college football, not only to continue my athletic journey but also to set myself up for a successful future. Earning a college degree would be a life-changing achievement, and as the first in my family to pursue and finish college, it would mean everything to me.
When I look at potential college programs, I am open to opportunities where I can contribute, compete, and bring intensity to the team’s culture. I’m eager to give everything I have to whichever program I join, and I’m excited for the opportunity to help elevate the team and grow as both a player and a person.
