Personal Statement

The College of Engineering program for Aerospace Engineering (AE) most excites me. There are several top ranked AE Universities that attract my attention. The Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) industry is in its infantile stages, and to be a part of the Vehicle Applications and Innovations for Environmental Monitoring would be an honor at any of those schools. I am seeking a top level education that will feed my knowledge and build on my education in collaboration with the innovation to manage the National Airspace System (NAS) safely and securely while “Bringing UAS to America’s skies”. I wish to attend a University that will allow me to continue embracing the innovative science of flight for both aircraft and spacecraft.

As a top academic 12th Grade, Varsity Quarterback for one of the more competitive 5A school districts in Texas, and having won 3 out of 4 quarterback competitions at the Whitfield Athletix Training Quarterback Competition for 2015; Competitor in the 2015 USA Football Training Camp, and qualifying for the State 7on7 Tournament of Champions, I wish to not only place emphasis on my education for both my undergrad and graduate degrees, but I also wish to compete at a high level where I can bring my strong work ethic, leadership skills, and extensive game knowledge to a top level University.

7/13/2013 - 7/14/2013, College Station, TX -- Placed 1st in South Texas 7 on 7 Qualifier, 1st Annual Battle by the Beach advancing to the Tournament of Champions Hosted by Prime Time Sports, College Station, TX playing against top schools in the Nation. We did not place .

This is an evaluation camp where you will be coached hands on and directly by the Texas State University football coaching staff. Height and weight will be taken, as well as testing consisting of: Broad Jump, Pro Shuttle and 40 yd dash. The student athletes will then go through an individual period where the Texas State University football coaching staff can personally coach and evaluate, followed by a potential competition drill.

This includes the opportunity to train with and learn from current NCAA coaches and former NFL players and coaches. The U.S. National Team Regional Development Camps are open to provide athletes with development both on and off the field and the chance to be selected for the U.S. National Team program at their age level.

The NCAA, Regional Development Camps are the only events in the country that provide the opportunity to train with current NCAA coaches from every collegiate division. USA Football is pleased to welcome coaches from the following universities: -University of Texas -UCLA -Army-West Point -University of San Diego -University of North Texas -Texas Southern University -Northwestern State University -Incarnate Word -New Mexico Highlands University -Texas Lutheran -Montana State -Avila College Also, while training with top college coaches, attendees will be competing with athletes from the region to earn their spot on the United States National Team that will compete in the 2017 International Bowl.
