My name is Jamel Nickerson and I have several goals in life. One is to go to college to obtain a degree in engineering and another is to play football at the collegiate level. I’m a hardworking individual, I accept challenges and I’ve dealt with adversity. I know these are just some of the characteristics that make me an excellent candidate.  My family has taught me that character is everything and defined through the choice of my actions. I work hard to prioritize my academics. Athletically, I work to remain an asset to my team and teammates. I wholeheartedly believe I was blessed with talents to play this game.
