Leonard Chapman '22 Recruiting Profile

Coaches- My name is Leonard Chapman.  I am working hard on my short term and long term goals in life.  I love the game of football and I have good grades.  I would love to have the opportunity to be a student athlete at a great University! I am interested in Business/Sports Management and would like to get my college education, play in the NFL, and own my own business and be the best man I can be.

  I have been playing 2 to 3 sports since I have been 5 years old! I'm known for being one of the hardest hitters on the football team.  My current and former coaches will say that I am a smart, physical athlete who makes plays on the field. They would also say that I am aggressive on the field and that  I always bring toughness to the entire defense.  I am willing to do whatever is needed to help the team be successful!  As a middle linebacker I will be leading the 2020 varsity defense. I also like to take on new challenges.  Recently at 'THE ISLAND" camp for DBs, I was the only linebacker there but my work did not go unnoticed. I ended up being one of the 6  DB "Camp Champions".

I am currently one of the Captains of the 2020 Dallas Roosevelt football team.  I have shown my leadership by setting up group chats; sending out information to my team, and planning personal workouts and training with some  of my teammates to be sure we are all working when the season starts.  And I have even helped many of them set up their twitter accounts.  

Overall, I am a hard worker,  team player, leader, and a reliable athlete who is hungry for success and I want to play in college!  College coaches will be happy to have me on their team.
