Emilio Noriega '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1" 195 lb quarterback from El Paso, TX. I played and started on the J M Hanks HS varsity team my sophomore, junior & senior years and earned 1-5A Academic All-District recognition in 2010 & 2011 and 1st-Team All-District for 2-4A in 2012. I also was recognized as 1-5A All District in 2011. I was recentIy voted 2nd-Team Texas High School Coaches Assoc Academic All-State. I was also selected as QB for the Eastside in Senior All-Star football game played at the Sun Bowl in December 2012. I am currently attending Southwestern U and was part of the 2013 football team as one of 6 QB's. I never played in a game so I have 4 years eligibility remaining.
I consider myself a student first but I have dreamed of playing football at the highest level possible as long as I can remember. I am a hard worker especially in the off-season and pride myself in leading the team in work ethic (5:30 AM, Monday-Thursday, 48 weeks/year)! I am a devout Catholic and truly believe that Character & Leadership will be my greatest contributions to my team. My goal is to obtain a degree in Business/Law at the most outstanding school that will accept me. I would preferably want to study & play in the Western US and stay close to my family but I would consider any institution that will offer me the opportunity to accomplish my life goals.
