Ashton Welch '18 Recruiting Profile

My goals are to play football at the college level.  I love football and all that it brings with teamwork, hard work, and complete dedication.  for the football team and the coaches, I would give my everything to be successful. showing the coaches my abilities are worth a scholarship.  I am the oldest boy in my family and we are a household of six with my stepsister in college now and i also have a stepbrother who will be graduating with me this year, I want to help my parent out as much as possible with the cost of my education, as i promised them that i would take care of them when i make it to the Pros. My work ethics are really impressive on and off the field.  I am sure of myself when it comes to the chance showing any coach that I am the guy for their team; I would give my all and show my teammates and the coaching staff why I deserve to be apart of their athletic and school program.      

    My skills on the field are really impressive I have played almost every position in the game from the front line to the backfield.  I have played fullback, running back, defensive end, tight end, linebacker, and defensive tackle.  One of the many constant compliments I receive from my coaches is my work ethics and how quick I am on the field because I have been taught to hustle when I do something. I will not let anything get in the way of my goals and it's just been that way since I was a little boy. If I set my mind to doing something that's what I'm going to do.

    Finally, my academic goals are to get a degree in business management and broadcasting. I would like to own my business, but in order for me to do that I would need to look into the right colleges that can assist me in scholarships and see what is the best fit for both the University of choice and myself
